Fixed scope.
Fixed price.
No hourly meter, no monthly drip. We agree a scope and a number, ship the deliverable, and if anything changes you see the new number first.
There is no price list on this page. The number depends on the scope, so any figure printed before we have read yours is a guess. What follows is how it gets decided.
Discovery Sprint
One week, fixed fee
A focused engagement to define scope, choose the stack, and produce a fixed quote for the build. We agree what "done" looks like before any code ships.
- User research and competitive read
- Tech stack and architecture decision
- Milestone plan and risk map
- A fixed quote for the build phase
Product Build
Fixed price per agreed scope
Full product development - strategy, design, full-stack engineering - delivered for one number against a scope we both signed. No hourly meter, no surprise invoices.
- One price, agreed before we start
- Weekly demos of working software
- Source-code ownership from day one
- CI/CD, staging and production setup
- Change orders priced before, never after
Retainer
Monthly, fixed
Ongoing development and support for a launched product that needs continuous iteration, monitoring and post-launch growth work.
- Dedicated weekly hours
- Bug fixes and feature iterations
- Performance monitoring
- Priority response time
- Monthly analytics review
What decides the number
How much is genuinely unknown
An undocumented API, an unmapped legacy database or a compliance regime nobody has read is the single biggest thing that moves a quote. It is also what the Discovery Sprint exists to remove.
How much has to be built rather than bought
Most products need far less custom code than they think. We price the parts that make you defensible and recommend vendors for the rest.
How fixed the scope actually is
A scope that is still moving cannot be quoted honestly. If you are still finding the product, we will say so and price the finding instead.
Tell us what you are building
Send the project, a budget range and the date it needs to be live. You get a scope and a fixed price back, or you get told we are the wrong fit for it. Both answers are useful and neither needs a call first.
FAQ
Why do you not publish prices?
Because a fixed-price studio publishing a price list is a contradiction. The number depends on the scope, and until we have read your scope any figure we print is either a guess we have to walk back later or an anchor that attracts the wrong enquiry. What we will commit to is the mechanism: one number, agreed before work starts, and you see any change before it happens rather than on an invoice afterwards.
So how does pricing actually work?
Three engagement types. A Discovery Sprint is a fixed fee for one week of scoping and ends with a fixed quote for the build. A Product Build is a fixed price for a scope we both signed. A Retainer is a fixed monthly amount for post-launch work. None of them meter hours.
How do I know if I can afford you before I email?
The contact form has a budget range on it. Pick the honest one. If the project cannot be done well inside it we will tell you on the first reply rather than after a call, and we would rather do that than take a budget we know is short.
Why fixed price instead of monthly?
Monthly billing aligns a studio with stretching work to fill time. Fixed price per scope aligns us with shipping the agreed deliverable as fast as possible. We commit to a scope and a number, and the maths is yours to verify.
What if scope changes mid-project?
Change orders. Anything outside the signed scope is re-priced as a fixed add-on or rolled into a follow-up phase. We never silently meter you - you always see the new number before we touch new work. The honest cost of that is real: fixed scope makes changing your mind a conversation rather than a free action.
When is fixed price the wrong choice for me?
When you are still finding the product. If the answer to "what are we building" is "we will know in three weeks", a fixed quote is a guess with a penalty attached. Buy the discovery on its own and decide about the build afterwards.
What is included?
Everything needed to deliver: strategy, design, full-stack engineering, QA, deployment and project management. You own all code and assets from day one.
Can I move between engagement types?
Yes. Most clients flow Discovery to Product Build to Retainer. If the product already exists, Discovery to Retainer is also common. We recommend the path based on your stage.
Do you take equity instead of cash?
No. We are a services studio, not a co-founder substitute. Cash terms only.
How quickly can you start?
Typically within one to two weeks of signing. For urgent projects we can sometimes start within days, depending on availability.
